Frequently asked questions
Is Birikimli a broker? Does it connect to my accounts?+
No. Birikimli is a tracking tool: it doesn't trade, hold money or access your brokerage or bank accounts. You enter your transactions yourself (by hand or from a CSV/Excel file) and we keep the prices up to date.
What language is the app in?+
The web and mobile apps are available in English and Turkish: switch the language under Settings or with the language switch in the app. Emails, push notifications and PDF reports follow your language setting. Legal documents, the free calculators and the guides are currently in Turkish only.
What is the inflation-adjusted (real) return?+
Every purchase, sale and dividend is carried to today's money using Turkish CPI (TurkStat) at its own date, and your current value is compared with that adjusted net investment. Months for which CPI hasn't been published yet are not estimated.
Can I try Pro for free?+
Yes. Once you have started using the Free plan (you have entered transactions), you can try Pro once for 7 days without entering a card. When the trial ends the account returns to the Free plan automatically, nothing is charged and your data is kept.
Is my data safe?+
Passwords are stored with bcrypt, sessions use secure HttpOnly cookies, and we never sell your data. Your portfolio and transactions are never shared with ad providers. The free plan shows ads (advertising cookies load only if you consent); Pro has no ads at all. You can turn on two-step verification (authenticator app or passkeys), download all your data as a ZIP, and delete your account and data at any time.
